Problem Statement: Design and produce a new type of musical instrumentwhich provide new capabilities of creating and performing music and production of a performance experience for live audience.
Objective: To design an instrument that provides unique user exprience and asthetics.

I drew inspiration from the accordion, a portable musical instrument, and incorporated its features into the violin. The varying triangular planes on different axes create dynamic movement and rhythm within the music. The organically shaped mahogany body at the center provides weight and balance while accommodating electronic components.
